Description:
Lead by two ex-BN SD60Ms, BNSF's Gateway Sub local heads north along the edge of the Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge. In the background the grain elevator at Hannchen, one of the industries in the Klamath Basin the local works on its southbound trips, can be seen. In a few miles the train will reach Stronghold, where the Gateway Sub crosses over what is left of the ex-SP (now UP) Modoc Line.
