Description:
The Union Pacific El Segundo Local arrives it it's name sake city on the UP branch of the same name. It is about to cross the BNSF Harbor Subdivision at Wise. Wise was originally a crossing between the PE (now UP) and ATSF (now BNSF), and was controlled by an interlocking tower from 1922 to 1963. That level of protections is no longer needed as each line typically sees no more than one train a day.
